Frankie Tyler Thompson was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona alongside her 8 sisters and brothers. Coming from a family of nine, she was naturally drawn to the spotlight. Her mom always says she started singing before she could even talk. She began her musical journey with The Butterfly’s Day at Scottsdale’s Dessert Stages Theatre (age 4) and hasn’t stopped. It wasn’t until high school when Frankie saw her first professional musical (Little Shop of Horrors) that she knew, performing was her one TRUE passion.
After years of training, Frankie received her bachelor’s degree in Musical Theatre Performance from Arizona State University in December of 2017. Shortly after, she was contracted with Steve Levine Entertainment as the female lead singer for their premier 90’s hip hop cover band, Vanilla Spice. She spent 2 years with their residency - located at The W Scottsdale hotel’s, Living Room Live. Whilst performing with Vanilla Spice, Frankie has opened for Grammy nominated artist, Flo Rida, and for singer/songwriter Andy Grammer. Frankie has been featured on both of the Bella Twins’ (former WWE champions) reality TV series, Total Bellas and Total Divas, while singing for their debut Scottsdale Birdie Bee Fashion Show.
During her time with Vanilla Spice band, Frankie stumbled upon her next passion – BURLESQUE. She has spent that last 8 years as the female vocalist for the dynamic "The Art of The Tease" Rock and Roll burlesque. This show is anything but your typical burlesque…You’ll catch dancing of course, some killer aerial acts, fire hoops, an out of this world saxophonist, the occasional motorcycle entrance, oh and did she mention fire BREATHING? Don’t miss Frankie and this stellar show twice a month at The Duce.
Frankie had no idea burlesque would lead her into her most current adventure...the CIRCUS. That's right. Frankie's found her monkeys (all the puns intended)with aguilar entertainment as their newest ringmaster! Find her 30ft up in the air singing from a lyra. she's soaking up every second!
When not performing, you’ll probably find Frankie on top of a mountain, doing over the top bike choero, in a hot yoga class, throwing a few jabs at boxing, or in the kitchen! She loves to cook, bake, and concoct new recipes; the kitchen is one of her happy places. Don’t get her wrong…as much of a foodie she might be, she has a passion for fitness and makes it apparent in her everyday life! When she’s not exercising her hobbies, you’ll probably find her attached to her laptop answering a million emails a day - she's the senior event sales/operations manager at The Duce in DTPHX.
